Book discussion on Monday

This is how we will do the book discussions on Monday.

I will record the discussions so that I can listen to all of them. I will join the Hatchet group and sit with them. I have reserved group rooms for the rest of you. These are the groups and the rooms.

Hatchet: Anes, Shirzad, Josefine, Matilda, Anton N. (in the classroom)

FFA1: Abdullah, Albin, Rasmus, Simon S., Johan S (the third floor group room closest to A304)

FFA2: Johan B., Simon F., Hanna, Philip, Pally (the third floor classroom furthest from A304)

FFA3: Sanaullah, Tim, Linus, Anton T, Daniel. (the second floor group room)

Preparations

·       Check the dictaphone to make sure that you know how to use it.

·       Devide your questions into two piles: one for discussion questions and one for questions about things you did not understand and need help with.

·       Put all the discussion questions face down on a pile on the table. Keep your other questions.

The discussion

·       Press rec. on the Dictaphone

·       Let everyone ask their questions about the things they did not understand and need help with.

·       Move on to the discussion questions.

- Let someone start by picking the first discussion question. That person should read and try to answer the question.

- After that other people can join in and discuss the question.

- Then, the second person picks up the next discussion question, reads it, and tries to answer it before the rest of the group can join in and give their opinions.

·       Discuss the questions from different point-of-views and in as much depth as you can.

After the discussion

·       Put your name on the questions you wrote.

·       Hand in the Dictaphone and the questions to me.
