Hatchet: task

This is your writing task for Hatchet

In the novel, Brian has crashed and survived a full day after the crash. Now, imagine this:

A group of weekend hunters are out hunting elk and they find Brian. He is rescued and taken to the nearest town, Acamolo. You are a reporter at the state newspaper and you travel to Acamolo, where you interview Brian about the crash. After that, you write a short article about the exciting event! Your task is to write the article. Remember:

• Remember, this is a newspaper article, so be objective and stick to the facts, like a reporter would.
• The article should be about 120-180 words.
• You will have to make up the information you don't have that you should find in a news article (ex. the date, location etc.)
• Use Google Documents and share the document with me.
• You have one lesson.
• You may use the novel to do this task.
